Lest we forget!

We are a proud people,
we believe in dignity of labour,
we dont mind hard work, its lack of remuneration that we detest.

Now if only we can get those in the government of the day to understand this, we'll be fine, but they cant, not that they wont, they just cant. Imagine a situation where the CBN guv goes on live tv to say he cant remember when he last bought petrol, shows how disconnected from the suffering masses he must be and this is why, no matter how well he understands the problems, his solutions will fall short of satisfactory for the larger percentage of the population.

I dont know who it was who said, 'dont judge me till you have walked a mile in my shoes' but pardon me as I re-phrase, 'dont profer solutions to my problems till you feel what i feel'. This.....(ok!) joker, probably eats food bought with government money, wears clothes bought with government money and educates his kids at government expense! How can he ever understand what is needful?

This is why we must not allow them to divert our focus. This started becos of an emergency increase in fuel price due to removal of  a dodgy subsidy but has led to the revelation of the rot and mismanagement that is ongoing in all levels of government in the nation and so once we revert the fuel price to 65naira and establish a sane approach to the removal of subsidy, we MUST get down to the business of demanding accountability and dealing a lasting blow to the appeal of government positions.

If anyone who is going there is aware that this will be a time of sacrifice, all these lazy people who cant eke out an honest day's living will find a way to slunk back to their respective villages and lord it over their townspeople there!!!We must not forget this part of this struggle!
