DREAMERS UNITE!!!!

Even though what we dream about differs and the impact of what we do varies, we dreamers(yes now! I qualify, after all, I dream about food amongst other things!) need to unite. We need to help the world (who are those?) understand us better by making a list of our characteristics available for their easy perusal and quick retrieval for diagnosis when they require it before they start to medicate us with Prozac and such like. 

We truly are very easy to understand and we usually are easy to please (yes! even the women!). So we dreamers, what are we? and how are we especially when no-one is looking? Now, understand that trying to read this in the context of mundane classifications like male/female, black/white/green(?), young/old, rich/poor, faithful/faithless, accomplished/struggling or any other classification in your mind will limit this and reduce your ability to grasp the basic and fundamental truth that has been scientifically proven about people everywhere . That is, except for that recently swelling rank of bigots and ignoramuses who can well do us all a favor and let us know what they also are about so we can identify them by something other than their usual display of lack of understanding which they are so adept at displaying.

Dreamers constantly dream of peace, be it in their corner of the world or in the entire globe, we believe it when we say world peace is achievable becos we see it in our dreams all the time and wish everyone would see it too...

They accept that they do not know it all but you could not tell for listening to them glossing over the details and arriving at bright ideas without the ability to do the work to make it happen...... 

They feel acutely, those problems they are aware of and choose to immerse themselves in and will engage in battles several times their size.....

They work with everyday material and create magic, they are however the most surprised when others enjoy it......

They are so passionate, they scare the atomic bomb and themselves.......

They live in organized chaos, some bits of their life is so organized, almost regimented, others, not so much.....

They wish they could understand authority, they will obey, just dont understand or feel a need for it.......

They are open with those they value and flippant with those they dont and mean no harm.......

They want to do better, they try to do better and are constantly improving on who they were.......

They hate being owned and will walk away for no apparent reason than the chains of ownership cos freedom is like air to them......

They want love so bad and will exchange whatever they have for it, fresh, new, daily........

They are dependable and fiercely loyal until they stop believing and then they become a worthy opponent.....

They do things according to their own rules and the dictates of their own heart and will defend what they believe in with their very life......

The lines of right and wrong may become blurred for them but only becos they dont let society dictate what is right or wrong.......

The very essence of dreamers is that there is one in each and every one of us but some have asked the dreamer in them to shut it (!) while some others dialogue and encourage the dreamer in them daily. The heart in each one of us that searches a path and walks that path clearly understanding the why and why not is the dreamer's everyday life. There are reasons why we choose the pragmatic lifestyle over that of the dreamer (and I daresay miss out on all the fun!) but I dont see the need, but the again, I cant, I'm one of 'them'!
