Whatever matters in destiny terms,

She interviewed for THE JOB twice
She's taking THE EXAM twice

I wonder what this means in other real terms
When the time comes to leave
Will she leave twice?

I wonder what this means in unreal terms
When the time comes to retire
Will she retire twice?

And as for those things in the future
You know, the beautiful things
Will they all happen twice?

I have no problems with my double-yous
I obsess enough over things for them
To happen twice

So twice is a charm
I know the saying isn't so
