Really dark days when you embrace the pain
They sometimes give way to marvelous light
They sometimes refuse to
Being highly imaginative can be a curse
As much of a blessing as it is
Aloneness can freeze your brain
Disease is what it is if we are truthful
The conversations we must have about mental health
May they begin
With each one of us looking in the mirror
And choosing to be honest about our state.
